📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team • Establish expectations, priorities, tools, workflows, and performance improvements • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across a multi-site organization • Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations • Own month-end close, financial accuracy, and reporting processes • Oversee banking relationships, liquidity planning, and capital allocation • Maintain and optimize financial systems, especially Sage Intacct • Develop and execute financial strategies supporting growth, acquisitions, and market expansion • Build financial models, forecasts, reporting tools, and KPIs for decision-making and profitability improvement • Evaluate acquisitions, support financial due diligence, and lead financial onboarding and integration • Build scalable systems, processes, and infrastructure • Advise partner doctors and practice leadership on financial performance, growth, profitability, and tax-related planning • Participate in practice board discussions and translate financial results into recommendations • Manage external relationships with auditors, banking partners, and financial advisors • Contribute to broader business initiatives as a leadership team member

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role • Experience leading, developing, and managing a finance or accounting team, ideally with 5–10+ team members • Strong, hands-on experience with Sage Intacct required • Experience in a high-growth, multi-location or multi-entity business environment • Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and FP&A • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required • CPA or MBA preferred • Experience with acquisitions, integrations, or a multi-site growth strategy is a plus • Familiarity with banking relationships, cash flow management, and capital planning • Entrepreneurial, action-oriented, hands-on, builder, driven, accountable, collaborative, relationship-focused, and clear communicator • Ability to translate complex financial information into practical insights for non-financial stakeholders • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment • Willingness to travel occasionally throughout Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming • Local candidates preferred; position based in Utah
