📋 Description

• Drive modernization, automation, and scalability of Addepar’s global finance function • Execute the Finance Transformation roadmap • Evaluate legacy processes and redesign driver-based planning logic • Standardize financial data architectures and optimize cross-functional workflows • Build, configure, and maintain Pigment blocks, metrics, transactions, applications, and dashboards • Design, build, and deploy multidimensional Pigment applications, metrics, transaction lists, and executive dashboards • Build models, metrics, dimension lists, and transaction blocks for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning • Create scalable Pigment items to automate financial schedules such as headcount planning, revenue recognition, capex, and working capital • Collaborate with IT and Data Teams to maintain Pigment integrations with ERP, CRM, and other planning systems • Audit and optimize Pigment architecture for performance, simplicity, and scalability • Translate business rules, accounting guidelines, and FP&A models into formula logic • Build real-time Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast variance dashboards • Standardize data structures, chart-of-accounts mappings, and driver assumptions across business units • Design reporting packages and dashboards for executive leadership and department heads

🎯 Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in Canada on the first day of employment; visa sponsorship is not available • Proven hands-on experience building, modeling, and configuring items within Pigment, or equivalent Anaplan / Adaptive Planning / Jedox experience with a track record of transitioning to Pigment • Strong understanding of financial statements, US GAAP principles, variance reporting, and corporate FP&A workflows • Advanced proficiency in financial formula structures, relational data structures, and multidimensional modeling concepts • Basic SQL or data transformation logic • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Modeling, or Financial Systems Administration, with direct experience building in cloud EPM/CPM platforms • Ability to translate complex finance requirements into technical model logic and explain system capabilities to non-technical business partners • Holistic understanding of how metrics and data blocks interconnect across applications • Strong focus on data integrity, governance, and auditability within model structures • Troubleshooting formula logic, identifying model bottlenecks, and optimizing workflows
