📋 Description

• Drive technical strategy by leading project planning, prioritization, and execution • Lead end-to-end system design and development of large-scale, high-availability services • Build robust APIs and data models for microservice and event-driven architectures • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Design, Legal, and Accounting on card loan attribution and lifecycle strategy • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues • Optimize existing code and drive robust, scalable solutions • Mentor junior engineers and guide team growth • Lead technical discussions and design reviews • Champion best practices through code review

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development or engineering • Deep understanding of system design and architecture • Motivated leader who inspires team growth and fosters continuous learning • Excellent communication skills for sharing complex ideas with diverse audiences • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Kotlin, or similar • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems • Knowledge of web frameworks and RESTful API development • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field • Must reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan
