📋 Description

• Assist with solution, integration, physical, high-level, and low-level architecture design • Prepare, review, and approve software requirements, specifications, and project artifacts • Prepare technical architecture documents • Interact with cross-functional teams • Provide project estimates • Lead and mentor developers in conceptualizing and developing software programs and applications • Research emerging application development products, languages, and standards • Recommend and implement software upgrades, tools, techniques, and process improvements • Code and unit test software programs and applications according to specifications • Analyze software analysis data to correct errors and identify project improvements • Generate statistics and reports on programming process status • Troubleshoot cross-component and cross-technology issues • Provide production support as needed • Serve as a subject matter expert • Perform project-level planning and project management tasks as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 8–11 years of relevant experience with highly developed professional/technical skills • Expert in Java/JEE coding and unit testing • Expert in JEE Web Services Technologies, including JAXB and Java APIs for XML Messaging • Advanced experience in enterprise design, including Object-Oriented Design, SOA, and Domain-Driven Design • Experience with distributed and multithreaded systems on relational databases • Experience with microservices and distributed service-oriented architectures • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs • Experience developing with a modern front-end framework • Test-driven development experience • Experience with Spring 5+, Hibernate 5+, and Sencha • Proficiency in Java 11+, JavaScript, SQL, and PL/SQL • Experience with IBM MQ and ActiveMQ • Relational database experience with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL • Experience with IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven, and Git • Experience with performance testing, code debugging, monitoring, and JVM tuning • Experience with Hazelcast, Kafka, Docker, and BIRT Reporting • Knowledge of design patterns and JEE • Knowledge of JEE web and enterprise application technologies, including Ajax, REST, JMS, Java Persistence, JDBC, and Java Dependency Injection • Knowledge of database structures, DDL/DML, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle stored procedures and user-defined functions • Knowledge of Windows, Unix, or Linux operating systems • Knowledge of application servers such as Oracle WebLogic, Apache HTTP Server, or Tomcat • Knowledge of Ajax, HTML, jQuery, XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, Freemarker, JUnit, JSON, Jasper Reports, and shell scripting • Knowledge of Eclipse, Maven, Ant, SVN, and Git • Effective communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills • Ability to be a hands-on leader across multiple projects and assist with troubleshooting • Strong attention to detail and process; collaborative, adaptable, independent, self-motivated, analytical, and accountable • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant discipline • Prior exposure to banking and capital markets infrastructure is a strong plus
