📋 Description

• Work on our existing Golang and Ruby on Rails backend services to build new APIs, tune performance and expand functionality • Work on our Next.js/React applications to expose features and improve functionality to our customers • Work within our Kubernetes & AWS infrastructure to launch new services, balance workloads and manage capacity • Work collaboratively to define, design, deliver and care for valuable solutions for our customers • Write testable, observable, maintainable code using direct and AI enabled technologies • Share knowledge and contribute to system documentation • Work closely with and collaborate with other Staff Engineers, Engineering Management, Product Management and Executives

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience with a server-side programming language (Golang or Javascript preferred) • Experience with a relational database such as Postgres, Mysql, MSSQL • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, take ownership and deliver on important projects • High attention to detail and excited to learn new skills while working on the most important problems across the tech stack • Experience working with a cloud provider such as AWS, GCP or others is a plus • Experience in Ruby, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Docker and Next.js is a plus • Experience working with DevOps tooling such as CDNs, CICD, Observability tools and shell scripting is a plus • Experience with SEO is a plus
