📋 Description

• Lead and develop Executive Directors across the assigned communities • Run weekly 1:1s and L-10 meetings, set goals, coach leaders, and make hiring, development, and exit decisions • Own P&L performance and review monthly results against budget with each Executive Director • Manage labor, including hours per occupied unit, overtime, and agency usage • Control expenses and build annual budgets with the Executive Vice President • Lead mock surveys and audits of resident records, service plans, medication management, staff training, and background screening files • Ensure incidents are reported on time and plans of correction are completed and sustained • Work within Florida AHCA rules, including Chapter 429, F.S., and Rule 59A-36, F.A.C. • Partner with Directors of Sales & Marketing on occupancy goals and the Welcome Home CRM pipeline • Ensure care-level assessments are accurate and billed correctly • Monitor clinical outcomes, falls, hospital transfers, and family satisfaction through Directors of Healthcare • Run quarterly quality improvement meetings • Lead operational onboarding of newly managed and newly built communities, including licensing, staffing, systems, and lease-up • Provide on-call support to community leaders and handle resident, family, and ownership escalations • Report to the Executive Vice President and work closely with the Founder & CEO on growth

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of senior living operations leadership • At least 2 years overseeing two or more communities • Experience as an Executive Director or Administrator of an assisted living or memory care community • Direct accountability for community operating budgets, including building a budget and being measured against it • Experience leading a community through a state licensing survey for assisted living or memory care • Florida Assisted Living Facility Core Training completed, or willingness to complete it within 90 days of hire • Valid driver’s license • Reliable transportation • Ability to travel 50–75% across the Southeast • Preferred: turnaround track record demonstrating improved occupancy, NOI, or survey results at an underperforming community • Preferred: experience opening a new community or transitioning one to new management • Preferred: memory care operations experience • Preferred: Florida AHCA assisted living experience, plus licensure or administrator experience in another Southeast state • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field • Preferred: experience with Welcome Home CRM, an eMAR/EHR platform, and Excel-based budget analysis
