📋 Description

• Work directly with the co-founders on priorities, execution, and technical direction • Act as the glue between engineering and product, ensuring alignment across teams and parallel projects • Lead greenfield projects from the ground up, building new products powered by LLMs and AI technologies • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers on the team • Plan and run engineering sprints to support predictable, high-quality delivery • Stay hands-on when needed through coding, reviewing, and debugging complex issues • Recruit and build a strong engineering team, owning the hiring process end to end • Support engineers’ growth through feedback, mentorship, and stretch opportunities • Contribute to company-wide engineering and process initiatives • Spend approximately 75% of the time hands-on, including coding, reviewing changes, or improving platform stability and performance • Coordinate between engineering and product, especially when multiple projects are running in parallel

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Tech Lead • Strong technical foundation • Comfortable staying close to the codebase and stepping in hands-on when needed • Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, PostgresQL, Elasticsearch, or Redis is not required; the posting states candidates do not need experience in Amplemarket’s stack • Experience leading greenfield projects leveraging Large Language Models and modern AI technologies • Technical mentorship and leadership experience • Experience planning and running engineering sprints • Experience coding, reviewing changes, and debugging complex issues • Experience recruiting and building an engineering team • Experience supporting engineers’ growth through feedback, mentorship, and stretch opportunities
