📋 Description

• Manage research projects, including communicating with the client and setting expectations • Assign research to team members and contractors • Ensure projects are completed within a specified time frame and on budget • Manage efficient genealogical research by multiple team members at archives and libraries, online and onsite • Solve clients’ research challenges • Ensure high quality of research and final product • Develop and mentor research pod members • Direct and teach genealogists of varying levels of ability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a professional genealogist • Bachelors/4-year degree in Family History, History or other Humanities/Social Science subject • 2+ years of experience in project management, specifically managing stakeholders, risks, cost, scope, and schedule • Proficient in Southern U.S. research, with an understanding of these records • Successful completion of a background check
