📋 Description

• Analyze, decouple, and migrate legacy enterprise systems into microservices or modular architectures • Design and optimize responsive React web UIs • Manage client-side caching with Redux • Build secure, high-throughput RESTful services with Java and Spring Boot • Implement high-volume bulk data pipelines with Spring Batch • Model corporate data using JPA and Hibernate • Bridge legacy data stores with modern Oracle production databases • Author and maintain automated end-to-end testing frameworks, mock environments, and isolation tests • Build regression suites using Selenium, JUnit 5, Mockito, Jest, and React Testing Library • Create CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions • Package, containerize, and deploy services across AWS and OpenShift • Integrate generative AI tools into software development, refactoring, query optimization, and debugging workflows • Collaborate with architectural leads, product owners, and QA engineers during demanding Sprint cycles • Deliver reliable, well-documented code under tight deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• 10–12 years of professional experience in enterprise-grade software engineering • Experience with system transformations, legacy-code refactoring, and application modernization • U.S. Citizen with an active Department of Treasury MBI • JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 • React.js and Redux or Redux Toolkit • VS Code and NPM • Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security • Spring Batch, including Job, Step, and chunk-based processing configurations • JPA/Hibernate and Oracle DB, including SQL optimization, indexing, and legacy stored-procedure migration • H2 Database for in-memory testing • Eclipse IDE and Maven • Advanced JUnit 5 and Mockito capabilities • Jest and React Testing Library • Selenium WebDriver with Java or JavaScript bindings • AWS and OpenShift Container Platform • GitHub Actions workflow orchestration • Docker/container lifecycle management • Git, GitHub, and GitLab • Practical experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude • Proven ability to deliver production-grade code in fast-paced corporate settings • Ability to lead architectural change without disrupting business operations • Participation in peer code reviews, architectural discussions, and cross-functional troubleshooting • Ability to explain complex backend or deployment blockers to non-technical stakeholders
