📋 Description

• Lead the renter experience across web, mobile web, and native iOS and Android • Own Core's coherence, quality, and direction • Balance product maintenance with new product invention across high-traffic, revenue-generating surfaces • Create visual, interaction, and system patterns and standards for senior designers • Prototype AI-forward experiences in Cursor and Claude Code using actual components, variables, and tokens • Partner with product and engineering to define priorities and provide build-ready prototypes • Make the case for Core's future direction • Develop a point of view grounded in renter needs, data, and design quality • Use qualitative and quantitative research and experiments to identify and prioritize problems • Mentor designers through critique, pairing, and example without direct management

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years designing digital products, owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems with minimal direction • Experience shipping working prototypes or production code with AI tools such as Cursor or Claude Code • Ability to articulate what AI got right, where it fell short, and how it was validated • Experience shipping on both web and native mobile • Mobile-first product thinking • Experience creating a framework, pattern library, starter kit, or standard adopted by other designers or teams • Figma fluency, including auto layout, components, variables, and systems • Demonstrable visual design, typography, interaction, and motion skills • Ability to act independently, identify problems, make decisions, follow through, and determine when to say no
