📋 Description

• Identify workflow gaps by working with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers and architects • Scope, design, and build software from computational engines to user interfaces • Ship software to engineers for use on real projects • Observe usage, measure whether tools improve productivity, and iterate • Build the core engineering platform connecting civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural design • Optimize physics models and build computational geometry systems • Automate engineering workflows • Build AI agents that reason across engineering documents, drawings, calculations, specifications, and design constraints • Create workflows transforming requirements into coordinated 3D models, engineering calculations, and construction documentation • Build robust interfaces and infrastructure for complex engineering workflows • Ship production software continuously and own features end to end from discovery through iteration

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional software engineer who has built and shipped real products end-to-end • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, architecture, and software reliability • Comfortable working across the stack, from backend systems and computational engines to user-facing products • Highly proficient with AI coding agents • Curiosity to learn engineering fundamentals, physical constraints, and how the built world works • Product ownership, including speaking with users, prioritizing work, and shipping without waiting for a specification • Product judgment, including scope reduction and prioritization • Experience with computational geometry, CAD/BIM, simulation, physics engines, developer tools, or complex technical software is particularly interesting • Must be eligible to work remotely in the US or Canada, excluding Quebec
