📋 Description

• Define and evangelize the commercial strategy and product roadmap for threat intelligence and threat hunting • Deliver platform strategy to drive detection efficacy and efficiency for the latest threats • Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Security Research, and cross-functional teams to align product vision with company goals • Guide strategic planning and drive innovation and outcomes in threat intelligence, threat hunting, and detection engineering • Lead initiatives to map strategy to execution, commission research, define OKRs, and maintain alignment across product lines and stakeholders • Present vision and alignment with corporate strategy at stakeholder meetings • Communicate strategy and high-level roadmaps for threat intelligence, detections, and AI-related initiatives to leadership, product management, and engineering teams • Participate in cross-functional efforts and co-design to leverage existing security research capabilities and avoid redundant development • Decide with Architecture and Security Research leadership when new capabilities should become products or platforms • Create vision and strategy presentations and documents addressing cybersecurity problems, emerging threat landscapes, and AI-driven solutions • Oversee incubation of breakthrough threat detection capabilities improving MDR, EDR, and SOC effectiveness • Lead cross-functional product development teams and foster experimentation, rapid iteration, threat validation, and customer-centric innovation • Partner with executive leadership on long-term business goals, resource allocation, and portfolio management • Run cross-functional backlog reviews and participate in product line reviews • Identify follow-up analysis and insights into emerging threat patterns and implications for product strategy • Communicate process changes and threat detection innovation priorities • Align threat intelligence, detection, and AI strategies with company direction and translate them into initiatives • Propagate priorities and major initiatives to product principals and technical leaders • Help product teams understand how threat intelligence, detections, and AI capabilities enable faster threat response • Identify projects that shift priorities and communicate with stakeholders across threat intelligence, security operations, and engineering • Align Security Research, Engineering, Sales, and Go-to-Market teams on product strategies and roadmaps • Drive organizational buy-in and support to improve threat intelligence and detection efficacy and efficiency • Create documentation for calibration efforts and prepare evidence-based portfolio reviews • Mentor others, influence organizational structure, and represent the group with transparency and integrity

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with deep expertise in threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, or security research • 10+ years of product management experience • 3+ years at a director level or equivalent managing complex, cross-functional teams delivering enterprise security products at scale • Proven track record of taking products from strategy through successful market launch, with quantifiable results in revenue growth, customer adoption, or competitive market share expansion • Executive presence with ability to speak credibly to technical and non-technical audiences about cybersecurity strategy, emerging threats, and security innovation • Deep expertise in threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering, and security research practices and their application to product development • Demonstrated understanding of conversational AI, large language models (LLMs), and machine learning applications in cybersecurity and threat intelligence and/or detections is a plus • Background in Threat Intelligence, managed security services (MSS), managed detection and response (MDR), or security operations centers (SOCs) preferred • Experience within a fast-growth cybersecurity company or security labs/innovation division focused on emerging threats or technologies preferred • Active presence and network within the cybersecurity community, threat intelligence organizations, security research ecosystem, or industry consortiums is a plus • Ability to satisfy background-check requirements • Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations, if applicable
