📋 Description

• Assist with the timely preparation of quarterly financial statements and financial reporting packages • Prepare monthly accruals and journal entries • Work with detailed spreadsheets for account reconciliations and consolidations • Create and process customer invoices • Investigate and process customer credits • Apply and process customer payments • Prepare bank deposits • Perform bank reconciliations • Prepare GST/PST returns • Maintain corporate and customer files • Perform monthly account, sub-ledger, and GL reconciliations • Assist with year-end and audit working papers and quarterly financial statements • Provide assistance to the CFO with other projects as required • Process incoming payments by check, credit card, and EFT • Receive, process, and reconcile statements • Prepare monthly financial statements • Generate and review monthly reports • Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices • Perform administrative and other tasks as needed • Process and monitor payments and expenditures and provide efficient, accurate reporting on a timely basis • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 1-3 years of general accounting experience • 1-3 years of experience working with payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Experience creating and maintaining documentation • An ability to learn new processes and applications quickly and efficiently • A talent for efficiently handling tight deadlines • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills; detail oriented and highly accurate • Criminal Background check required
