📋 Description

• Oversee, plan, and manage security initiatives across all security pillars • Run the end-to-end security issues management lifecycle in Jira, from identification and triage through handoff, validation, closure, and reporting • Triage issues using exploitability, blast radius, data sensitivity, regulatory or audit linkage, and compensating controls • Own Critical and High issues, including executive notification, dependency management, and validation fast-tracking • Enforce analysis gates and verify root cause, remediation recommendations, impacted systems and teams, and acceptance criteria • Lead structured handoffs and drive formal acceptance in Jira • Review remediation plans and surface cross-team dependencies • Run recurring cross-functional security issues reviews and resolve priority and acceptance-criteria disputes • Formally close issues after independent Security validation and reopen failed validations • Maintain security issues management board hygiene • Lead the Cloud Governance program and convert eligible cloud remediations into enforceable Kion guardrails • Create project plans and support metric visualization • Develop security program metrics and leadership reports, including monthly rollups and quarterly Sponsor reviews • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and identify dependencies • Ensure root cause analysis and implementation of solutions through accountable owners • Recommend security process adjustments based on performance metrics • Influence strategic security direction • Build and manage AI processes to improve operational efficiency • Ensure compliance with industry standards through process documentation and adjustments • Manage escalations and assemble project teams for critical items

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in security, project management, or technology • Proficient understanding of security domains • Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa • Experience with creative problem solving in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment • Experience in Security or Cloud software solutions • Ability to recognize, evaluate, and reduce program risks • Excellent stakeholder management skills • Experience running a security findings, vulnerability management, or audit remediation program across multiple engineering and business teams, from intake and prioritization through verified closure • Experience applying structured risk-scoring methods such as CVSS or a weighted rubric • Ability to drive accountability with owners outside the reporting line, including formal handoffs, acceptance, and escalation to senior leadership • Hands-on experience with Jira workflows, JQL, and dashboards • Working knowledge of compliance frameworks and audit evidence such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
