📋 Description

• Define and oversee end-to-end solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture standards • Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical designs • Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, engineering, and business stakeholders to evaluate technology options and guide solutions throughout the development lifecycle • Design and document cloud-based, full-stack, and integrated solutions • Ensure security, performance, reliability, maintainability, and compliance with applicable data protection requirements • Develop proofs of concept and contribute to technology selection and architectural roadmaps • Evaluate emerging technologies to support innovation and continuous improvement • Review architectural designs and promote security-by-design principles • Mentor engineering colleagues • Communicate technical decisions to stakeholders across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • At least 5 years of experience architecting full-stack software solutions, supported by a strong background in software development • Proven experience designing cloud-based architectures using AWS, Azure, or comparable platforms, including knowledge of infrastructure automation, containers, serverless technologies, and cloud service models • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, API integration, data modeling, Domain-Driven Design, and architectural documentation • Working knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, data protection, and secure software design practices • Experience with Agile software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain architectural decisions and collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders • Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud migrations, technology roadmaps, or regulated clinical technology environments is an advantage • Ability to work remotely from Canada and meet applicable Canadian employment eligibility requirements
