📋 Description

• Serve as a senior test designer and hands-on contributor • Define test strategies and scope test efforts • Review product requirements and engineering specifications during Agile planning • Develop and maintain repeatable automated testing solutions and QA test plans • Establish test methodology and automation practices for parallel enterprise software and automated test-suite development • Integrate testing with development and DevOps workflows • Partner with software engineers, QA team members, and system and database administrators to investigate test failures • Use SQL queries and analysis of web and application server logs to troubleshoot failures • Test software across relevant platforms, including mobile applications • Improve automation coverage, test reliability, and overall software quality • Provide technical or team leadership and support junior team members • Help teams resolve complex testing and automation challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of related experience in enterprise software testing or quality engineering • Strong hands-on experience with test automation • Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools and approaches • Experience testing software on mobile platforms • Experience working within Agile development environments • Experience troubleshooting complex test failures across application, database, and test environments • Practical SQL and log-analysis experience is valuable • Familiarity with cloud automation and DevOps practices, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), is an advantage • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to adjust effectively to changing priorities and collaborate across technical teams • Demonstrated ability to provide technical or team leadership and support less-experienced team members • Ability to work remotely within Canada with availability overlapping Eastern Time hours
