📋 Description

• Serve as a technical authority, enterprise developer advocate, and field-to-engineering leader across the Infrastructure Software Division • Embed with complex enterprise accounts to improve how developer teams build, deploy, and scale AI-native applications • Bridge customer application developers, platform engineering teams, product managers, and executive architects • Design, validate, and standardize REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs, Kubernetes CRDs, and SDKs • Establish continuous delivery pipelines, GitOps patterns using ArgoCD and Flux, and self-service developer portals • Build CLI tools, testing harnesses, and automation frameworks for VKS and VCF platform adoption • Architect production environments for real-time LLM inferencing, agentic frameworks, and RAG pipelines on GPU clusters • Standardize integrations for LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, and vLLM and expose enterprise-compliant model-serving API gateways • Define execution patterns for containerizing, orchestrating, and tuning AI runtime engines alongside vector databases and caching layers • Write production Go, Python, and TypeScript code, including platform operators, custom controllers, and AI wrappers • Upstream field contributions into core ISG product codebases • Translate developer friction and field workarounds into architectural requirements for product managers • Establish API design, developer documentation, and code quality standards across the FDE organization

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience • 5+ years driving Developer Experience (DevEx), API design, or AI platform architectures at scale • Proven technical credibility with C-suite leadership while remaining hands-on with staff-level software developers and systems engineers • Authority-level mastery of RESTful API design, gRPC, OpenAPI specifications, and API Gateway integration • Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, custom controllers, CRDs, Operator patterns, and Cluster API (CAPI) • Proficiency in GitOps workflows and infrastructure-as-code automation • Hands-on experience building or supporting LLM/Generative AI application stacks • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Semantic Kernel, Ray, vLLM, SGLang, and Triton Inference Server • Experience with vector databases and search technologies including Milvus, Qdrant, Pinecone, pgvector, and Weaviate • Experience with Apache Kafka, Redis, Pulsar, Apache Spark, and Flink • Experience integrating virtualized GPU workloads including NVIDIA vGPU, MIG, and GPUDirect RDMA • Advanced proficiency in Go, Python, and TypeScript/Node.js • Fluency across EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift, and Rancher • Experience with standard application network and storage abstractions • 17+ years of total professional experience in technical software roles required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred; relevant years of equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree
