📋 Description

• As a Data Developer (Java) you will develop, integrate and maintain data-driven backend systems and microservices for the German e‑mobility business. • You will work independently and without supervision in an agile DevOps team to implement interfaces, data flows and services within the existing IT landscape. • Develop and implement Java-based backend components and microservices as part of the e‑mobility system landscape. • Connect and integrate surrounding systems (e.g., CRM, middleware, billing or IoT platforms) via standardized REST and SOAP APIs. • Optimize data flows and interfaces to ensure performant and stable integrations between frontend, middleware and backend. • Perform data modeling and transformation to support analytical and operational processes. • Implement security, logging and monitoring capabilities (e.g., using Azure Monitor). • Conduct code reviews, testing and root-cause analysis as part of the DevOps process. • Actively contribute to modernizing the service landscape, in particular by replacing monolithic applications with scalable microservices. • Create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., interface specifications, deployments, data structures).

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) • Extensive expertise in Java and Spring development, including security mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2), databases (MS SQL, Hibernate, JPA) and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit with Mockito) • Strong knowledge of interface technologies, primarily REST, but also SOAP • Solid DevOps experience in creating automated continuous integration and deployment pipelines (e.g., with Azure, GIT, Artifactory, Docker) • Deep understanding of operational security and secure design of digital solutions • Strong conceptual skills to define, question and optimize new end-to-end data processes • Ability to specify, design and build secure application environments as well as backend systems and communication interfaces • Very good communication skills in German and English.
