📋 Description

• Coordinate the distribution and tracking of materials, components, and consumables on site • Work closely with supervision, planners, and trades personnel to ensure material availability • Verify material deliveries, quantities, and documentation upon receipt • Monitor material inventories and communicate shortages or discrepancies • Stage, organize, and issue materials to support daily work activities • Maintain accurate material tracking records and inventory documentation • Utilize CMMS systems and project tracking tools to manage material status • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and procurement teams regarding material requirements • Conduct inventory counts and material audits as required • Ensure materials are stored, handled, and preserved in accordance with site requirements • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area • Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and hazard assessments

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience as a Material Coordinator, Warehouse Coordinator, Inventory Coordinator, or similar role • Strong knowledge of mechanical and welding materials, components, and consumables • Experience working in large plant or industrial environments • Shutdown, turnaround, or maintenance experience considered a strong asset • Experience using CMMS systems such as Maximo considered an asset • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
