📋 Description

• Report directly to OpsGuru Leadership • Discuss every stage of the technology adoption cycle with audiences ranging from CEOs to developers across multiple technical domains • Identify and implement AI opportunities to streamline infrastructure delivery and simplify internal consultancy processes • Work with several accounts as a trusted technical advisor in public cloud infrastructure and data enablement • Provide thought leadership and respectfully guide and challenge clients • Oversee project teams to align technical outcomes with customer business problems, budgets, and timelines • Work with Engagement Managers, project teams, and customers to manage project scope, expectations, and delivery quality • Participate in the sales process, including pre-sales activities • Work with Account Executives and Presales Architects to scope engagements and create statements of work • Support account management • Potentially manage approximately five Architects and Engineers through one-to-ones, professional development, goal-setting, feedback, and performance recommendations • Escalate administrative or project-related issues and provide recommendations for performance reviews and promotions

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a relevant information technology environment • 5+ years of experience delivering professional services as a Principal Consultant or equivalent leadership role • Experience focused on infrastructure and platform workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with public-cloud infrastructure adoption or cloud migration in enterprise and small-to-medium-scale environments • Experience with IaaS, networking, and security • Experience with data platform or analytics infrastructure on public cloud, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabric, and Synapse • Experience with microservices adoption on public cloud, such as AKS and Azure Container Apps • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Bicep • Experience with public-cloud infrastructure cost optimization • Demonstrated experience using AI tools and LLMs to simplify workflows and automate repetitive architectural tasks • History of delivering presentations to CxO- and VP-level executives • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and diverse stakeholders simultaneously • Sales experience, preferably in a pre-sales function • Ability to model costs and explain total cost of ownership for public-cloud hosting approaches • Experience handling customer requests and escalations • Experience with Identity Management and Active Directory • Ability to adapt communication style to individual team members • Ability to explain the company mission and values to customers • Ability to provide candid and constructive feedback • Ownership of team challenges through to conclusion • Ability to establish trust and build professional relationships • Ability to conduct gap-analysis conversations and help team members define effective goals • Ability to inspire and motivate without micromanaging • Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills • Experience leading technical teams
