📋 Description

• Examine, design, and recommend application or operating systems based on business needs and requirements • Collaborate with business teams to elicit, analyze, and document API and integration requirements across firm initiatives • Define API specifications, including request/response structures, payload formats, system interactions, and data mappings • Support API design and lifecycle management • Work with architects and developers to align APIs with Digital Client Onboarding platform standards and business outcomes • Ensure API implementations meet Operations and Compliance requirements • Collaborate with application development teams and vendors to identify potential solutions and define selection criteria • Use continuous improvement methodologies to improve or eliminate ineffective processes and improve customer service or gain efficiencies • Facilitate technical discussions and provide knowledge transfer to clients and internal staff • Present ideas, lead technical walkthroughs, and produce clear status updates • Design, test, and implement effective technology solutions through requirements gathering, process modeling, and technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required • University Degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent relevant work experience • More than 3 years of experience in a business systems analyst role in the Brokerage Securities Industry or Financial services • Strong business and/or IT knowledge • Good understanding of financial products used in the Securities Industry and Wealth Management • Strong knowledge of trading products, processes, and workflows within the Canadian financial services industry • Experience working with, or good knowledge of, front office trading desks, traders, and related stakeholders • Experience in requirement gathering and use case development • Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business stakeholders and subject matter experts • Experience collaborating with business analysts, QA, developers, and product owners • Experience working in an Agile environment on a self-managed team • Experience working with API integration • Skilled in facilitating technical discussions and providing knowledge transfer • Strong ability to present ideas, lead technical walkthroughs, and produce clear status updates • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills • Strong technical aptitude and ability to adapt to new technologies quickly • Familiarity with SoapUI, Postman, and XSD • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database design • Understanding of system architecture, design principles, and software development lifecycles (SDLC) • Experience analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and using visualization tools such as Tableau • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java can be beneficial • Knowledge of cloud services and platforms • Understanding of cybersecurity risk management principles
