📋 Description

• Teach SK665 (WA1 and WA2): Relational Accountability: Transforming Social Work with Indigenous Peoples • Facilitate holistic reflection on social work values and practices in relation to Indigenous Peoples • Engage students with Indigenous worldviews and values while avoiding Indigenous cultural practices and dominant colonial narratives • Guide students in reflecting on their ancestral positions, relationships with land, and responsibility for transforming themselves and social work • Deliver the course online through virtual asynchronous instruction during Winter 2027, from January 11 to February 28 • Assess and support an anticipated class of 35 students

🎯 Requirements

• Required Master’s Degree • Degree in Social Work or related discipline • Eligibility for appointment to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies required to teach graduate courses • PhD degree is an asset • CV required • Candidate Application Form required • External applicants must provide names and contact information for referees • External applicants must provide evidence of good teaching • External applicants must provide verification of highest degree • Ability to work legally in Canada • Course delivery online and virtual asynchronous • Applications assessed using the applicable collective-agreement criteria and program-specific rubric
