📋 Description

• Oversee Carrier's scope of work in data center construction projects • Lead startup, commissioning, and field modification processes for Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers in newly constructed data centers • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets are met • Track and review KPIs to monitor project success • Conduct progress meetings with stakeholders, addressing design, material delivery, and labor schedules • Ensure projects meet or exceed booked profit margin goals • Order and track chiller parts needed for warranty execution • Collaborate with sales, prime contractors, and end-users to fulfill project scope and deliverables • Serve as Carrier's primary liaison between customers, commissioning authorities, general contractors, and subcontractors • Resolve customer concerns professionally and timely • Interpret and apply mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings • Ensure adherence to industry codes, standards, and project specifications • Apply working knowledge of Building Automation System integration • Manage change orders, preventing scope creep and maintaining project integrity • Forecast monthly revenue by estimating project completion costs • Manage project documentation, including warranty processing and factory-generated service information • Maintain rigorous job safety standards across all projects • Work closely with engineering, factory operations, field service, commissioning authorities, general contractors, and subcontractors

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • 5+ years of experience in project management coordinating project schedules, deliverables, and activities involving multiple stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and/or customers; OR 4+ years of experience supporting mechanical, electrical, controls, commissioning, construction, or field service projects • 2+ years reading and interpreting blueprints and technical mechanical systems documents • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time within the USA as required by business needs • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering; or a Master's degree/MBA (preferred) • Data center industry experience with water- or air-cooled chillers (preferred) • Commercial HVAC expertise, including centrifugal chillers, Cooling Distribution Unit systems, and airside equipment (preferred) • Project Management Professional certification (preferred) • Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification or experience with Building Automation Systems (preferred) • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences • Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities • Strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers through active listening and effective solutions
