Castlemain partners with law firms, governments, Indigenous organizations, claims administrators and foundations, and combines lived experience (including a majority-Indigenous team), project management, technology, and rigorous compliance frameworks to deliver trusted, accessible programs across Canada and North America.

📋 Description

• Lead regular outreach, events, and sourcing in identified Indigenous communities • Track outreach activity, identify talent trends, and identify employment barriers • Build and maintain respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, employment and training programs, educational institutions, and community partners across Canada • Source and pre-screen candidates through community networks, events, and referrals • Support candidates through the application process • Share job postings and posters through community job boards, band offices, and social media using plain, culturally appropriate language • Strengthen referral networks with Claims Helpers and Co-Leads • Keep referral sources informed and report regularly on outreach, pipeline, and hiring results • Build and maintain a candidate database for current and future hiring needs • Support high-volume recruitment initiatives and emerging project workforce requirements • Comply with health and safety policies, communicate openly, and support ongoing risk and injury prevention

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, talent acquisition, employment services, or community engagement • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, Indigenous Studies, Social Services, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and lived experience • Knowledge of the histories, cultures, and lived realities of Indigenous communities • Ability to respectfully engage with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples and organizations • Strong relationship-building, communication, and active listening skills • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities in a changing, project-based environment • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, virtual engagement tools, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms • French fluency considered an asset • Required to complete a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check as a condition of employment
