📋 Description

• Customize program elements to meet the needs of assigned prescribing physicians • Review patient status and assist physicians with patient enrolment and payer forms • Identify coverage obstacles and communicate them to the Program Manager • Build relationships with physicians and office staff and provide office support • Provide assistance resolving issues for assigned physicians • Train physicians and clinics on programs and approved initiatives • Liaise with physicians and provide feedback to the Program Manager • Complete program reports, expenses, timesheets, mileage reports, and other required documentation • Welcome patients and capture required information • Provide reimbursement guidance and coordinate private and public coverage activity • Coordinate and track patient services to support expedited therapy access • Navigate patients through financial assistance • Assist with pharmacy selection and coordinate drug delivery • Support therapy coordination and ongoing therapy status • Refer clinical questions outside program materials to healthcare providers • Report Adverse Events and Severe Adverse Events according to standard operating procedures • Assist with training and development of new Field Case Managers • Support peers through regular communication • Maintain relationships with the Patient Support Program team • Participate in physician meetings with the Pharmaceutical team • Attend Continuous Medical Education events and report new activities • Deliver in-service presentations to physicians with Pharmaceutical Representatives • Maintain communication with Program Manager, physicians, office staff, client representatives, patients, and nursing team • Perform other assigned duties and tasks; may be required to be on standby or on call

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health care or a related discipline, or a nurse diploma • Minimum five years’ experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, or related industry • Active Licensed Nurse (RN or RPN/LPN) registration from the College of Nurses in the province of employment • Case management experience preferred • Minimum three years’ nursing experience in a clinic setting is an asset • Ability to travel within an assigned territory; some overnight travel may be required • Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance policy, and reliable transportation for regional travel • Experience in various therapeutic areas is an asset • Business administration, pharmaceutical sales, or marketing background is an asset • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structures, systems, and processes • Experience with reimbursement navigation, special authorization, appeals processes, and field-based reimbursement support and consultation • Strong analytical skills, including interpretation of regulations and legislation • Fluency in French and English required • Availability for daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or cross-functional peers
