📋 Description

• Increase sales and market share of Authentic Wine & Spirits Merchants’ portfolio of brands • Develop and maintain relationships with retail stores and restaurants in the territory • Drive portfolio sales and exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives and KPIs • Increase territory distribution and focus on core brands • Maximize brand sales through fridge and shelf placements in top-selling stores • Organize trade days for supplier and manager visits • Pitch quarterly programming and work with retail chain store managers to execute programs • Maintain and develop restaurant relationships through cold calling • Identify opportunities for cocktail features and by-the-glass pours • Assist licensee accounts with beverage menu planning and development • Assist accounts with sourcing AWSM products in retail accounts • Conduct product education, tastings, events, and winemaker dinners for buyers, FOB managers, and sommeliers • Record and manage daily activities and account data in the CHG XRM system • Maximize available budgets and manage expenses within company guidelines • Create six-week route plans for efficient territory coverage • Participate in trade shows, supplier dinners, and events • Travel regularly throughout Saskatchewan, including occasional nights and weekends • Report to the Sales Manager, MB/SK

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum WSET Level 2 completed • Experience in the restaurant or retail wine industry • Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience • College or university degree in business/sales/marketing preferred • Knowledge of the liquor sales industry preferred • Successful completion of wine and spirit courses desirable (e.g., WSET, Italian Wine Scholar) • Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry 50+ pounds • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license • Must meet the company’s automobile insurance requirements • Must have and maintain a valid passport • Serving It Right certification required • Must be based within the Saskatoon/Regina general region • Confident with highway travel in all seasons and 2- or 3-day road trips as needed • Strong cold-calling abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication • Skilled presenter able to adapt to audiences
