📋 Description

• Develop and maintain custom plugins for the Backstage.io platform, expanding features and integrations; • Implement and evolve RESTful and GraphQL APIs to integrate internal systems with the platform; • Create and maintain scaffolding templates (Software Templates) to accelerate the creation of new projects; • Develop frontend components in React/TypeScript to enhance the user experience on the platform; • Integrate the platform with CI/CD tools, monitoring solutions, and corporate systems; • Implement service catalogs, APIs, and technical resources following the Backstage Entity Model standard; • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the evolution of the platform architecture; • Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, plugins, and developer guides; • Work closely with teams and participate in agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups and Sprints; • Propose and implement improvements in performance, security, and scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Node.js and backend development; • Proficiency in TypeScript and its best practices; • Experience with React for frontend component development; • Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs; • Familiarity with Docker and application containerization; • Experience with Git and versioning workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development); • Knowledge of integrations via APIs and webhooks; • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases. • Preferred/Pluses: • Azure certifications; • Experience developing plugins for Backstage; • Knowledge of Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platforms (IDP); • Experience with service catalog tools and service mesh.
