📋 Description

• Lead Cisco’s Security Solutions Designers within the Security Architecture Team • Work closely with customers, partners, and regional leaders across Canadian public- and private-sector industries • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth in each region • Partner with Security Sales Leadership to achieve regional revenue goals • Lead and mentor a highly motivated sales engineering team • Develop security solutions using Cisco’s Identity, Cloud, Network, and XDR capabilities • Recruit and develop team members • Manage and improve team performance • Position Cisco security solutions against competitive offerings • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and cross-functional teams • Build relationships with executive stakeholders • Articulate Cisco’s business value and technical capabilities • Drive activities that enable deal closure

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of prior experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role • Experience designing cybersecurity solutions across firewall (NGFW/IDS/IPS), content security (email, web, and DNS protection), endpoint protection (EPP), threat detection and response (EDR), access control, cloud-native security, SIEM, or SOAR • Knowledge of cybersecurity trends in the market and customer environment, including emerging products and solutions • 2+ years of experience leading people, operations, program management, and strategy development • Consistent track record of high performance, strong leadership skills, and successful quota attainment • Ability to articulate security architectures integrated with cloud, networking, and data center technologies • Demonstrated experience aligning go-to-market initiatives with security industry trends • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, highly preferred • Working knowledge of the Cisco portfolio and demonstrated knowledge of the Cisco Security portfolio • Working knowledge of the Splunk portfolio and ability to articulate its value alongside Cisco Security capabilities • Strong collaboration, influencing, and facilitation skills • Proven ability to influence and lead outside the organization and across roles and functions • Ability to provide thought leadership to customers and partners based on short- and long-term business and industry drivers • Strong executive presence and proven ability to present strategic information to a wide range of audiences
