📋 Description

• Function as a technical sales professional owning the Cisco brand with customers and partners • Provide technical solutions addressing customer and partner business needs • Collaborate with aligned Inside Account Executives on customer plans and customer success • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to the account team and customer/partner • Demonstrate understanding of Cisco’s portfolio and increase penetration through cross-selling, upselling, and competitive displacement • Lead the technical relationship with customers and partners • Lead engagements with IT decision-makers and lines of business • Translate customer and partner needs into technical requirements • Spend selling time landing opportunities and expanding within accounts • Participate in territory strategic planning • Provide feedback to sales teams on strategic customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive tactics • Move deals across the technical sales process and design and communicate relevant solutions • Manage a virtual support team of sales resources • Leverage tools and resources to support deals and achieve technical closure • Increase revenue through closed opportunities, competitive displacement, market-share growth, and new customers

🎯 Requirements

• Experience selling or supporting security, networking, compute, and/or collaboration solutions • CCNA-level understanding or background in campus network design, including switching, wireless, and routing • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales engineering or technical pre-sales role (preferred) • Cisco CCNP Enterprise (CCNP EN) or CCIE certification (preferred) • Proven track record of success in technical sales or solutions engineering roles (preferred) • Highly motivated with a “hunting spirit” to assist Account Executives in developing new opportunities and growing business (preferred) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and partners (preferred) • Candidate ideally located in Colorado or Oklahoma; candidates in the Remote US considered
