📋 Description

• Lead the clinical UX strategy across decision support, treatment planning, intervention selection, execution, coordination, and longitudinal follow-through • Manage and develop experienced designers, coaching them in strategy, trade-offs, stakeholder influence, and organizational leadership • Guide the application of AI in clinical workflows, including evidence, uncertainty, human oversight, review, and correction • Partner with Clinical, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Research leaders • Connect clinical needs, model capabilities, user evidence, technical constraints, and business priorities • Strengthen critique, research synthesis, clinical review, prototyping, evaluation, and learning practices • Establish leadership and strategic alignment with product directors and embed design in business strategy • Deepen user understanding and embed research insights into design decisions • Accelerate iteration cycles and reduce time-to-insight by 30% • Position design as a business driver contributing to provider engagement, adoption, user experience, and product direction

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of design experience in a design environment (in-house, agency, or relevant industry) • 5+ years of experience managing people • Experience leading complex, high-consequence workflows in healthcare or another expert professional domain • Strong judgment in interaction design, information design, research, and product strategy • Ability to coach experienced designers and help them grow into strategic decision-makers and organizational leaders • Experience with AI-enabled products or sound judgment about recommendations, automation, evidence, uncertainty, and human oversight • Experience with complex systems and applications • Ability to simplify complex concepts and create delightful, intuitive experiences • Ability to collaborate closely with product and engineering • Passion for shaping the future of healthcare UX
