📋 Description

• Lead clients through discovery of personal or business needs, goals, financial status, gaps, and opportunities • Explain and sell life, long-term care, and disability income insurance solutions • Manage daily activities and drive sales activity and pending business • Handle incoming calls from referral sources • Participate in preset calls with clients and their advisors • Complete insurance applications and follow cases through underwriting • Explain insurance product functionality, differences, and advantages to clients and advisors • Manage sales activity through product purchase • Explain basics of estate planning, business planning, asset leveraging, and insurance planning • Handle 1035 exchanges, explain insurance forms, and determine coverage needs and amounts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience • Minimum 2 years direct life, long-term care and disability income insurance selling experience in the field directly with clients and/or 3+ years handling inside sales helping agents sell life insurance through a General Agency or insurance carrier platform • Active Life and Health Insurance license required • Current 6/63 FINRA Registration required • Must possess and maintain appropriate FINRA registrations (e.g. Series 6 and 63) • Agent of Record experience • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers • Effective time management skills • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to work in a self-directed fashion • Experience with PCs in a Windows environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software • Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions • Ability to communicate with individuals at all organizational levels • Clear understanding of term, whole life, universal life, and variable universal life products, as well as long-term care and disability insurance solutions • Proven insurance-industry sales track record of meeting established sales quotas • Knowledge of the underwriting process
