• Develop high-quality code that’s clean, secure, and performant • Break down complex problems into stories alongside senior engineers, product owners and product managers • Continuously improve our codebase by adding features, fixing bugs, and improving scalability • Participate in all agile ceremonies, code reviews, and QA cycles • Troubleshoot issues, triage bugs, and partner with Operations to resolve incidents • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, QA, and Operations to deliver features that power billions of interactions • Contribute ideas to make our engineering processes better, faster, and more reliable
• Solid programming fundamentals - language agnostic, but comfortable with JavaScript (Node.js/React) and Python • Knowledge of how to write code scalable code with performance, optimization, and readability in mind • Familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, and SQL (raw or via ORMs) • Strong English communication skills that you can utilize to collaborate across functional groups • Willingness to participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and QA cycles
