📋 Description

• Craft and execute a long-term north-star vision for Authentication balancing security with a frictionless user experience • Recruit and mentor engineering talent to scale security infrastructure • Act as the voice of Security Engineering across the organization • Drive data-driven decisions at the executive level • Present Databricks’ security innovations at major academic and industry conferences

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas • Expertise in at least two of: Authentication, Network Security, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, Governance, Privacy, Trust, Safety, Identity Management, Access Control, Key Management, Inter-Service Authentication, Secure Application Frameworks, Detection & Response • Experience building systems at large-scale internet companies is a plus • 15+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability • Leadership experience across functional and organizational lines • Strong communication skills for explaining and evangelizing Data Security to senior leaders • Bias to action and passion for delivering high-quality solutions • MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields
