📋 Description

• Review, analyze, and code diagnostic information in patient medical records according to client-specific project guidelines • Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, DRG coding guidelines, third-party reimbursement policies, regulations, and accreditation guidelines • Maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate • Perform other tasks requested by management • Translate clinical documentation into precise HCC codes reflecting patient health status complexity and severity • Work on multiple client projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' HCC coding experience • Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical abbreviations, pharmacology, and disease processes • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality • Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work remotely and strong time management skills • Working knowledge of computer hardware and software for effective, secure data processing • Must commit to 40 hours weekly • Ability to work on multiple client projects • AHIMA certified credentials: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS; or AAPC certified credentials: CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, or CRC • CPC-As are accepted only when the candidate also has a CRC • This job is not eligible for employment sponsorship
