📋 Description

• Serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients for all claims • Handle property insurance claims, property damage liability and bodily injury claims of various complexities • Conduct investigations and inspections to assess damage, estimate costs and market value, and produce and review reports and other documents to determine settlement amounts • Analyze medical, financial and job information and determine eligibility for benefits based on statutory criteria • Investigate and approve claims • Settle claims in accordance with organizational standards, policies, quality commitments, and contract terms • Meet deadlines to ensure client satisfaction and avoid penalties • Negotiate with all parties involved to ensure smooth claims processing • Advise and assist clients, represent Desjardins, and enter the organization into agreements with clients • Develop solutions, negotiate claims settlements, and enter into agreements with members, clients, third parties, and others

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field • A minimum of three years of claims experience • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered • Advanced proficiency of English, both oral and written • Availability to travel up to 3.5 hours within the territory between Toronto and London, Ontario • Must have a valid driver's license • Decision quality
