📋 Description

• Perform equipment repairs, light repairs, and maintenance on industrial equipment at Home Depot locations, external customers' retail locations, and manufacturing facilities • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment mechanically and electrically • Inspect and test customer equipment in alignment with preventive maintenance • Document all work performed, including labor and parts, using the company technology platform • Maintain, report, and store parts inventory • Complete and organize tech stock replenishment into the company vehicle • Communicate with business partners, leaders, and customers regarding service needs, parts, and equipment servicing • Perform all work according to safety practices, THD rules, and safety regulations • Complete pre- and post-vehicle inspections • Be available by phone and tablet during scheduled work hours • Drive daily within the local market or territory • Report to the Region Equipment Services Manager and/or Field Supervisor • Typically travel overnight less than 10% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in Canada • Must have a valid driver's license for the province you work in • At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment and conducting preventive maintenance on industrial and commercial equipment • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical schematics • Versatile equipment maintenance repair skill set • Ability to adhere to CSA regulations, including fall protection and lock-out tag-out procedures • Must reside within 25 to 35 kilometers of the target city • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and drive customer satisfaction • Ability to consistently and accurately document work performed • High school diploma and/or GED • Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods of time • Ability to lift heavy objects and climb 15+ feet • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and ability to adjust focus
