• Coordinate seamless insurance application services for Doctors of BC members working with insurance advisors • Provide administrative support to the Insurance Department • Assist advisors in preparing for insurance review meetings • Follow up with members to submit life and disability insurance applications • Review and submit insurance applications • Serve as a first point of contact for member questions and assistance with insurance application and administration processes • Provide excellent customer service and timely, efficient follow-up • Maintain comprehensive documentation of interactions with members and stakeholders • Collaborate with colleagues and impacted stakeholders to solve operational and interpersonal problems • Identify and complete multiple critical activities on time while monitoring for errors and applying quality checks
• High school graduation supplemented by post-secondary education or technical training, plus one year of related experience • Equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of post-secondary education • Life and Accident Insurance License preferred but not required • Experience with customer relationship management systems • Strong understanding of the need for excellent documentation • Superior interpersonal, oral communication, and customer service skills • Excellent writing skills and ability to develop clear, concise, and comprehensive written communication • Ability to balance concurrent tasks and projects with a high degree of accuracy • Ability to respond to varied issues, unclear situations, and conflicting demands • Excellent computer skills using Word, Outlook, and Excel • Ability to work independently and as a team member
