• Provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President, Joint Clinical Committees, and Vice President, FPSC • Schedule meetings and manage departmental administrative activities • Support working groups and steering committees • Compose and edit correspondence and high-level documents, including e-newsletters, meeting minutes, agendas and PowerPoint presentations • Process invoices and contracts with confidentiality, attention to detail and political acumen • Communicate with diverse team and committee members • Organize team-building activities • Manage team communication channels • Build and maintain relationships and alliances • Apply problem-solving methodologies to operational and interpersonal problems • Manage priorities, monitor work, detect errors and perform quality checks
• High school graduation supplemented by post-secondary education such as business and secretarial courses, workshops and seminars, plus one year of related experience; OR equivalent related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education • Excellent writing skills and ability to develop clear, concise and comprehensive written communication • Excellent judgment in setting priorities, identifying issues and determining required action under pressure and deadlines • Superior interpersonal, oral communication and relationship management skills • Ability to balance major concurrent tasks and projects • Ability to respond to varied issues, unclear situations and conflicting demands, and seek leadership direction when needed • Excellent computer skills using Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team • Experience supporting team-building and social connections across a virtual team is an asset
