• The Senior Project Coordinator, SSC provides project and operational coordination to support the successful planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex initiatives. • Reporting to the Manager, Operations, the role leads and coordinates projects from planning through implementation. • Working collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and subject matter experts to ensure objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved. • Provides leadership in project planning, partner engagement, communications, curriculum or resource development, event coordination, and process improvement. • Ensures work aligns with organizational priorities and quality standards. • Responsible for coordinating multiple operational functions, including project management, financial coordination, reporting, communications, documentation, and partner support. • Develops and implements tools, resources, and standardized processes, monitors project budgets and deliverables, coordinates meetings and events, and provides guidance to project teams to ensure work progresses effectively. • Identifies risks and opportunities, recommends improvements, and supports the successful implementation of strategic initiatives while fostering collaborative relationships across the organization and with external partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of progressive and related experience or an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education. • Ability to work synergistically in a team environment and coordinate tasks and priorities with other team members. • Experience working in the BC health care system or general knowledge of the BC health care system is preferred. • Experience in project management and adept at balancing significant concurrent activities and projects with attention to detail and effective time management. • Ability to apply logical and evaluative thinking to define problems, collect information, establish facts and determine optimal solutions. • Excellent judgment in setting priorities, and managing time, identifying issues and problem-solving while working towards deadlines. • Excellent diplomacy, communication and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact with highly trained professionals and diverse stakeholders. • Budget development and management skills are an asset. • Demonstrated experience working in dynamic, challenging, and ambiguous environments. • Knowledge of design and implementation of learning management systems and communication platforms an asset. • Excellent research and writing skills and proven ability to develop clear and concise communication. • Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently and as a member of the team. • Demonstrated proficiency with PC based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
