📋 Description

• Architect, build, and own highly available, fault-tolerant, high-throughput transactional platform services. • Lead end-to-end design of agentic AI workflows using LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, tool-calling patterns, and multi-agent coordination on AWS. • Write production-grade Python and Go services and establish language-specific engineering standards. • Design and govern AWS-native infrastructure aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. • Establish code review, test coverage, CI/CD, and observability standards. • Lead technical design reviews and produce architecture decision records and technical specifications. • Resolve distributed-system performance bottlenecks through query optimization, caching, and asynchronous processing. • Guide proof-of-concept evaluations and present production-readiness recommendations to engineering leadership. • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through reviews, pairing, and technical coaching. • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortems to improve reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a staff-level, principal, or equivalent technical leadership role • 4+ years of hands-on experience building and operating production services on AWS • Deep familiarity with AWS compute, storage, messaging, and networking services • 2+ years of professional Python development with asyncio, FastAPI, and Pydantic • 2+ years of Go experience in production microservices • Experience architecting and operating large-scale transactional systems, high-volume OLTP, event-driven architectures, distributed caches, and saga/outbox patterns • Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems, including agent orchestration, tool/function calling, RAG pipelines, and LLM integration patterns • Command of relational and non-relational databases including PostgreSQL, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redis, or ElasticSearch • Proficiency with Docker and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CDK, or Helm • Experience with Datadog, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or equivalent observability tooling • Experience owning and evolving CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness • Experience integrating Kafka or SQS and designing event-driven architectures • Experience mentoring engineers and driving company-level improvements in engineering culture, quality, and velocity
