📋 Description
• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications, including implementing new features and optimizing existing codebases • Manage and optimize the PostgreSQL database, including data modeling, performance monitoring and tuning, and data migrations • Participate in DevOps tasks, including deploying application releases, developing and maintaining microservices in Kubernetes, and performing database migrations • Develop and integrate interfaces to external point-of-sale (POS) and ERP systems to optimize data exchange and system communication
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification • Solid experience developing with Ruby on Rails • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases • Proven experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) • Experience with AWS (e.g., RDS) is a plus • Independent, analytical, structured and detail-oriented working style • Strong service and customer orientation • Team player with resilience and ability to work under pressure • Excellent German (minimum C1) and good English (minimum B2) skills, both written and spoken
