📋 Description

• Support and enhance mission-critical applications running on IBM i / AS400 environments • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project managers • Lead the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of strategic IBM i applications • Deliver reliable solutions throughout the project lifecycle • Analyze, design, code, and test applications using all RPG versions and SQL • Ensure program and application integrity during unit, integration, and smoke testing • Produce clear textual and visual documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Lead a small technical team as needed • Oversee code reviews related to logical and database changes • Guide clients in modernizing their legacy applications toward modern, scalable ILE architectures • Provide consulting services to clients to support their business applications and systems

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written French • Ability to communicate with people at various levels and explain functional and technical concepts • 20+ years of hands-on experience with the IBM i platform (iSeries / AS400) • Excellent command of the various RPG formats, particularly RPGLE, Free-form syntax, and embedded SQL • Expert-level application programming experience with DB2 and database modeling • Advanced understanding of the ILE environment, including modules, service programs, and binding directories • Experience with structured deployment and version-control processes • Experience with major ERP systems on IBM i, including Infor LX, BPCS, Infor XA, MAPICS, PRMS, JDE, Frontier, and HFA • Experience in distribution, manufacturing, finance, or insurance environments • Experience with RDi (Rational Developer for i) or Eclipse-based IDEs • Practical knowledge of Git or SVN in an IBM i environment • Experience with impact analysis tools • Experience with integration solutions using APIs, JSON, XML, or platforms such as GoAnywhere
