📋 Description

• Generate, terminate, review, and send invoices accurately and on time • Ensure adherence to billing schedules and deadlines • Ensure business units properly suspend product access for cancellations • Create subscriptions, sales orders, and estimates as applicable • Handle customer inquiries about invoices and credit card applications • Process billing changes and resolve billing errors and discrepancies • Import billing files as applicable • Issue refunds and add credits to customer accounts • Modify and update invoices when customers add services • Monitor billing transactions and identify irregularities • Process one-time and usage-based billings • Apply customer payments and resolve Paystand issues • Manage tax exemptions • Terminate and modify subscriptions in NetSuite and Zuora • Partner with customer service, support, and sales teams on customer inquiries • Reconcile billing records with customer accounts and financial statements • Investigate discrepancies between billing records and payment transactions • Assist with reconciling undeposited amounts and reconcile payments between business units and AR Aging • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, disputes, and payment issues • Provide timely, professional resolution of billing-related issues • Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and implement process enhancements and automation • Collaborate with revenue, operations, finance, accounting, corporate, and business unit teams • Document procedures and processes to ensure consistent workflows and communications

🎯 Requirements

• Related field or applicable billing experience • Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial analysis • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, and Zuora SuiteBilling • SaaS billing experience required • Knowledge of general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounting processes, including account reconciliation • Experience reconciling complex billing records and statements • Knowledge of PCI compliance, data privacy laws, reporting requirements, and billing-related regulatory compliance • Ability to analyze billing and payment data and identify discrepancies • Ability to document comprehensive procedures and processes • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet accounting deadlines • Ability to identify root causes and implement preventive solutions • Ability to manage billing needs across multiple business units in a mergers and acquisitions environment • Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements and automation • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Prior experience in a similar industry or with billing systems/software preferred • Experience with FloQast and Salesforce (SFDC) is a plus • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
