• Drive customer satisfaction through service excellence and address daily service repair needs for at least one modality, with potential proficiency in multiple modalities. • Act as the primary GE HealthCare Services representative to customers. • Resolve advanced service repair needs of designated equipment. • Provide direct technical service on customer equipment, including preventative maintenance, remedial service, field modification instruction, installation, and calibration to factory and customer specifications. • Complete required documentation for government, business, and audit requirements. • Provide technical support outside normal business hours and participate in on-call coverage as required. • Manage repair parts cycle times to business targets. • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records. • Communicate with customers daily and follow up promptly to ensure resolution and satisfaction. • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment. • Meet Quality Management System and Environment Health and Safety requirements. • Use escalation processes and conduct root cause analysis to resolve service delivery issues. • Participate in sales opportunities, including contract renewals, and help promote and implement revenue programs. • Integrate into hospital culture and work with hospital resources to optimize service delivery for equipment covered under Maintenance Service and Strategic Alliance Agreements. • Develop an advisory and consultative role with assigned hospitals. • Liaise with the local Field Customer Team, Area Service Leader, Market Service Director, and Account Manager to provide efficient service delivery within assigned customer accounts.
• Technical Diploma / Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience or training. • Minimum of two years’ experience in Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Service. • Proven track record of superior customer service skills and ability to communicate across multiple levels, internally and externally. • Demonstrated customer contact / empathy / service experience. • Excellent analytical and written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical issues clearly. • Technical and troubleshooting skills. • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. • Boundaryless behavior and ability to work with a diverse, cross-functional team. • Strong ability to exercise independent judgment in support of a team. • Ability to work independently without direct supervision. • Experience responding effectively to customer concerns. • Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers in a solution-based service process. • Must have a valid Canadian driver's license. • Mechanical aptitude and expertise with hand tools. • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl. • Desired: Experience servicing GE Healthcare and Canon/Siemens CT, XR, MR, PET, NM and UL equipment, with GEHC and OEM-provided modality training. • Desired: Previous experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT, XR, MR, PET, NM and UL. • Desired: Proven ability to manage difficult customer situations. • Desired: Demonstrated excellence in customer communication.
