📋 Description

• Reliance Health’s mission is to make quality healthcare delightful, affordable, and accessible in emerging markets. • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, and Express. • Implement robust, scalable, and secure database solutions using MySQL and Sequelize ORM. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver solutions. • Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with DevOps and support teams. • Ensure high code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, and CI/CD best practices. • Contribute to technical documentation for APIs, services, and data models. • Participate in architectural discussions and propose improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Express. • Solid understanding of REST API design principles and best practices. • Proficiency with MySQL and ORM frameworks (preferably Sequelize). • Experience with asynchronous programming, error handling, and performance optimization in Node.js. • Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, or Nomad). • Experience with Git-based workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or similar). • Familiarity with PHP/Laravel (for interaction with our legacy platform) (nice to have). • Understanding of security best practices for backend services (nice to have). • Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress) (nice to have). • Exposure to distributed or microservices-based architectures (nice to have).
