📋 Description

• Update Outage Developed Schedules and provide modification recommendations in line with project scope and budget • Use defined tools to manage budget and project forecast goals • Apply project control standards and assign budgets to planned outage activities • Support Job Cost Estimate development and budgeting by analyzing historical data and previous project experience • Establish a Project Controls operating rhythm and deliver timely, accurate progress reports under the Global Project Controls Policy • Coordinate with site personnel to ensure project hours are accurately billed and physical progress is captured against forecast goals • Update outage schedules daily during outage events and deliver progress reports including S-curves, EV, and SPI • Analyze outage costs daily, focusing on ACWP and EAC, and recommend budget improvements • Issue Outage Planning Updates at least twice weekly • Reconcile subcontractor and third-party supplier invoices with field cost data • Assist the Project Controls Manager with closeout activities • Allocate and reconcile project hours, purchase orders, receipts, and invoices in the accounting system • Generate final cost and schedule reporting for the GPCP and customer • Maintain historical project data and provide benchmarking support • Ensure project setup in Oracle Primavera aligns with business needs • Track budgets against purchase orders or subcontracts • Participate in project planning, execution, closing activities, and daily outage calls • Travel may be required

🎯 Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED • 5+ years of demonstrated Project Controls experience in Power or Oil and Gas Projects • Field Experience and knowledge of O&M Field Work Practices • Comfortable working with all levels and functions in a constructive fashion to achieve responsibilities and goals required • Previous Experience with one of the Planning Scheduling Softwares ( Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.) • English proficiency required • Legal authorization to work in Canada • Successful completion of a background investigation • Ability to deliver project reports within time constraints and quickly pivot in response to evolving priorities • Understand Project Controls and Earned Value Management • Proficient in data visualization (converting raw data into useful metrics/charts) • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point) • Proficient in SAP and prior experience with using and/or creating Project Reports in Tableau • Ability to implement standard and consistent Project Controls processes and develop ad hoc project specific reporting methods as required • Proficient Using P6 Global Change, Resource and Budget loading, Leveling Invoice Tracking/Management (processing, record keeping, auditing) • Analytical mindset • Excellent communication and reporting skills
