📋 Description

• Provide expert advice on privacy, confidentiality, information access, and data protection matters • Investigate and support resolution of privacy incidents, complaints, inquiries, and patient access requests • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and privacy risk assessments for initiatives, technologies, services, and vendors • Partner with business leaders to identify privacy requirements, risks, and controls • Support acquisitions, due diligence, integrations, partnerships, technology implementations, and new models of care delivery • Review contracts, consent language, information-sharing arrangements, and operational processes involving personal information • Develop privacy training, guidance, and awareness resources • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and support implementation across healthcare operations • Support audits, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives • Work with operational leaders, physicians, healthcare professionals, and corporate partners to provide practical privacy guidance

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working in healthcare, medical clinics, health services, or other patient-care environments • 3+ years of experience in privacy and data protection • Experience investigating and managing privacy incidents, complaints, inquiries, or access-to-information matters • Knowledge of applicable privacy and health-information legislation • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decisions through clear, logical, and compelling dialogue • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders • Experience developing privacy-related policies, procedures, training materials, or operational guidance • IAPP CIPP/C designation or willingness to obtain it
