📋 Description

• Provide project leadership and guidance from project conception through project delivery • Conduct project feedback reviews at the appropriate time • Develop and manage project costs with ongoing estimates to completion • Develop, plan, and manage project schedules and payment milestones • Provide contingency planning where required to ensure timely delivery • Manage contractual scope content and keep all stakeholders informed • Manage risks and opportunities, ensuring risks and issues are identified and mitigated • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining excellent relations with customers, peers, Engineering, and global teams • Act as the focus for project-based activities • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested • Execute Project Management, Planning, and Coordination for Nuclear Power Business customer outage requirements according to financial/commercial parameters and customer satisfaction objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant project management experience within the power generation or industrial manufacturing industry • Ability to gain unescorted access to a Nuclear power facility in Canada or U.S. • Ability to travel, up to 30% annually, domestically and internationally • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport • Ability to work at customer site as required • Professional Engineering Certification • PMP Certification • Experience with Steam Power systems either in a Nuclear, Fossil or Industrial power plant setting • Practical knowledge of GE Vernova products is a plus but not necessity • Ability to adapt to changing technology • Attention to detail and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met • Clear thinker, detail oriented, insightful, quantitative, and results oriented – Able to make reasoned, sound, and timely decisions • Strong facilitation and presentation skills for technical and business audiences • Able and willing to take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks • Able to work successfully in a matrix environment, executing multiple assignments and priorities • Continuous improvement “mindset” with an ability to identify, influence, and implement better ways to execute an activity or process • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and working knowledge of Primavera P6 • Strong verbal communication skills and customer focused mindset • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Legal authorization to work in Canada • Successful completion of a background investigation
