📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive, strategic recruitment support across the entire hiring process for Engineering roles in the U.S. and Canada • Partner with designated client groups to manage a diverse portfolio of open positions and meet talent acquisition goals with high-quality candidates • Use advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates • Screen candidates for technical expertise, cultural fit, and leadership potential; provide strategic input on candidate selection • Guide and mentor junior recruiters on advanced sourcing and screening techniques • Articulate compelling career opportunities based on candidate motivations • Ensure an inclusive, equitable recruitment process and positive candidate experience • Promote GE Vernova’s talent brand and build presence in targeted channels • Create candidate engagement strategies and pipelines for hard-to-fill roles • Use recruitment data and market insights to recommend process optimization and influence stakeholders • Manage and advise on end-to-end recruitment processes for roles of varying complexity • Lead complex offer negotiations and advise stakeholders on compensation benchmarks • Manage candidate and requisition lifecycles in the ATS accurately and promptly • Apply Lean principles, track KPIs, and identify continuous improvement opportunities • Participate in projects and adopt best practices in daily operations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in recruitment with expertise in sourcing, screening, managing complex offers, and advising stakeholders • 2+ years of consultative recruitment experience within the Conventional Power, Electric, or Renewable Energy industries, or another highly regulated, technical industry • 2+ years of experience identifying and sourcing talent for niche engineering roles, including Mechanical Systems, Instrumentation & Controls, Probabilistic Risk & Reliability, Systems Integration, Civil Structural, or other systems engineering specialties • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience (desired) • Experience with Workday or similar ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Neuron, Tableau, and AI bots such as ChatGPT • Strong advisory skills and ability to influence hiring strategies • Experience in change management, process optimization, and implementation • Strategic mindset with ability to think long-term and influence change • Advanced storytelling with data and trend information • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, especially in high-stakes offers • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching junior recruiters • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and compensation benchmarks • Experience in both corporate and agency recruiting environments is preferred • If contracted in Canada, legal authorization to work in Canada is required and employment is conditioned upon successful completion of a background investigation
