📋 Description

• Create strategic recruitment plans with hiring managers and business leaders • Lead end-to-end recruitment for the Franchisee In Training (FIT) Program • Manage full-cycle recruitment across Home Office, Distribution Centres, and leadership development programs • Conduct intake meetings to understand business needs, role requirements, and recruitment strategies • Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, networking, referrals, and other channels • Screen, interview, and assess candidates • Coach and guide hiring managers on recruitment practices, interviews, candidate selection, internal mobility, and compensation guidelines • Influence candidates and hiring managers through communication, consultation, and recruitment expertise • Manage offer negotiations considering compensation philosophy, internal equity, and market competitiveness • Coordinate assessments, background checks, references, and other hiring activities • Maintain recruitment documentation and a positive candidate experience through onboarding • Promote Giant Tiger’s culture, values, and employee experience as a brand ambassador

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or a related field • Professional-level fluency in French and English • Ability to conduct interviews and communicate with candidates and stakeholders in both languages • Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills • Ability to proactively identify, engage, and attract talent through varied sourcing methods • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and partner with teams across multiple locations • Experience using an ATS and HRIS; Workday preferred • Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment technologies • Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and maintain authorization throughout employment
